I love the subtle scent of this shower gel. I bought this for my boyfriend with the intention of getting him to use products that are pure and less chemical. While its ingredients are rated in the range of 1 to 6 for ingredient safety with an average overall safety index of 2.5 (on a 1 to 10 safety index scale according to CosDNA), it is relatively safe compared to some typical skin care products. The packaging is clean and minimalistic in design, which I really like because I'm a minimalist and the design is just cool and elegant. There is also a bit of humor in their directions/phrasing which is a lot of fun. The bottle is small for the price, but a quarter scoop makes a big difference and lathers really well (I've tried that myself). The downside is my friend doesn't like using stool/loofah/rag to wash so it washes off and there is no product to lather it other than his hands. So maybe a soap bar would be better and hopefully they have a soap version of that soon. As for the effect on the skin, it seems to soften his skin and cleans it very well, especially after working on a construction site in his basement or chopping wood. Leaves no residue with just enough fragrance that doesn't overpower like Ax products. Definitely sexy. I'm always on the lookout for clean skincare products, which while not quite my natural preference, is worth a try. Not to mention my boyfriend is very happy with it and so am I when I smell it :) Will definitely try their other products too.
