Very strong, has withstood daily use well.
My hair is very long now and it's getting too hot so I'm going to pin it up at the back of my head. I've been using this set of three clips to lift and curl my hair several times a day since I've had it. I work in the garden and often catch hair on branches. It tended to break other brands. They have wider teeth that won't come loose or break. The plastic that holds the spring clips is also very nice and strong. I would buy this brand instead of the Goody brand anytime!
