Review on ๐ŸฆŸ Lulu Home Electric Bug Zapper: Aluminium Indoor Insect Killer for Mosquito, Bug, Fly with 2800V Grid and 20W Bulbs by Leon Thompkins

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Really manages fruit flies and mosquitoes in my kitchen

ATTENTION! ATTENTION! Turning off the switch on the front of the machine ONLY turns off the light. Zapper still works. My plan was to use a knife to scrape off the remains of the moth clinging to the bulb, I'm glad I used a knife with a conductive handle because otherwise I would have been shocked from my attempt. No changes to my review other than that it should have been mentioned somewhere except maybe the instructions which I can no longer read due to poor eyesight. I repeat I am unharmed but I think others should be aware of this danger. I installed this on top of my fridge in my kitchen and turned off the light, plunging the room into darkness. Less than five minutes later I heard the "clap" of a dying beetle. Since then I've been listening to it about once an hour. I've been plagued by fruit flies and mosquitoes getting up my kitchen pipes (I know this for a fact) and now they can pop up and electrocute. I sincerely recommend this product. My low ratings for "transparency" and "thickness" are average because I don't understand the questions, it's a zipper, not pantyhose! UPDATE JULY 3, 2021: Bought and used last summer with great benefit as mentioned above. This summer I have an invasion of common houseflies. This zapper knocks them down, but doesn't always kill them. I have found that flies crawl on my kitchen floor, they can no longer fly and are slow moving and easy to "buff" on their own. Again, small flies in the desert like Los Angeles knock them down, I'm not complaining about this big fly problem. I have to empty the litter box every day of those it REALLY kills completely, so it has a decent kill rate for even large houseflies.
