Review on Tekonsha 118242 Harness Wiring Package by Jack Ngo

This is an easy way to prepare a 7 pin connector for the F-150. Comes with everything to have a 4 and 7 pin plug. But the included 7-pin connector is of poor quality. It will not fit most mounts (especially those that accept both 7-pin and 4-pin wiring). I also had connection problems. From time to time one of the pins on my trailer plug comes out of the socket. Actually not a very good 7-pin connector. Works but poor quality. I ended up buying a new 7-pin socket (Hopkins) and hooking it up to the wiring that came with it. Much better connection and fixed my problems. I also removed the extra 4 pin connector and will be using an adapter instead. With all the issues I've had with the outlet, I've decided to keep things simple so fewer wires are used when troubleshooting. The wiring itself looks good. It's just a 7 pin connector and there's no excuse for using an oversized connector and such poor quality.
