Let me start by saying this carrier is very well built. I had one from another company and it started tearing within a few months. However, as you can see from the photos, it is double stitched and made from quality materials. My wife and I like to go hiking and our cat also likes to go for walks. We take him with us until we get to a safe place and then put him on a leash. I know it sounds weird but he loves it. In fact, he goes into the vehicle when we release it. A few other things we like about this carrier. We put treats and water on our cat carrier. We also use one of the supplied insulating boxes for our snacks. See photos. I highly recommend this carrier. Measure your pet before purchasing to make sure it is true to size. Our cat is perfect for purring.
