My son likes to play in the sand on the beach or in the sandbox in our garden. This set has everything you need to play in the sand. It has a bucket, different shapes, a shovel, a rake, a watering can, a sand sieve and 4 small inflatable beach balls. For me the best thing about this set is probably a zippered plastic case and a mesh bag for use at the beach when the toy gets wet and covered in sand. I have two kids and have bought a lot of sand toy sets over the years because they never come with a decent reusable bag and they get lost over time. These toys are colorful and made of thick plastic. They are of much better quality than some of the ones I've bought from dollar stores in the past. It's too cold to play in the sand now so my son uses them in the bath. Yesterday he tried out the shapes in the snow and had a great time making different shapes. You can also use them with playdough or clay, in the mud, etc. There are many more uses than just playing in the sand.
