Instructions incomplete, no lamp or backplate for hanging

I bought a pair of these wall lights to hang behind my desk to balance the space at night. They arrived well packaged and everything seemed to be there except there were no bulbs as pictured. If they weren't included I didn't see it in the description. The instructions simply focused on how to connect the light to the existing mains electricity. However, the photos clearly show the power cord as if they could be hung without hard wiring. I struggled to put it together and eventually had to take it apart and start over because it wouldn't assemble properly. With difficulty we managed to wrap the cord in the elbow joints - an extra pair of hands could have been used. The user is also instructed to connect the wiring and power cord of the device (no problem, just say: ). Once I got everything together and put the light bulb in, I was ready to hang it. However, the back of the base wasn't flush with the edge of the base, causing it to wobble when I held it by the paint hooks. After several attempts to hang it, it finally got stuck on a hook but came off the wall a bit and doesn't hang flush with the wall. In the end I went with plan B: I fitted it with wire to hang the picture and it worked. I like soft light as you can see in the photo and I used 40 watt bulbs. These sconces give off a nice warm light (note the inside of the lampshade is matte black) and they were exactly what I was looking for. Very difficult to assemble and hang but overall I am happy with my purchase.
