I've had this type of heater for years and love it! I recently bought this to replace one that I accidentally broke. It doesn't get as hot as the others, but I think it has less power. They don't add much to my electric bill and are perfect for rooms that just aren't warm enough. I run it 24/7 and have no problems with it. I have them on the floor and my dogs love to lie next to them. I don't know if this is enough to keep an unheated room at a comfortable temperature, but it does an excellent job of cooling a heated room that just isn't warm enough. I use this in my daughter's room and although it does get hot it doesn't burn so she doesn't mind having it there. She even turns it off herself when it gets warm in her room.
