This bow is adorable and gender neutral enough for my kitty. Also, the collar is very narrow and soft, unlike other festive bow collars which are thick and stiff. Even cats who don't like to wear accessories probably won't even notice. One star deduction because the adjustment buckle is too loose and does not hold the adjusted size. I fixed it with a few quick stitches. In addition, there are no holes for the ears in the hat. I can't imagine a cat crushing its ears with this hat. Mine unequivocally refused to put it on, not even for a few seconds to pose for a picture. I think you could use it for a doll or teddy bear or make a tree decoration out of it so it shouldn't be a total waste.
