Perfect replacement for the original washer arm. My wife, after freezing rain and a snowstorm, decided it would be a good idea to turn on the rear wiper without breaking the ice first. It wasn't, and he immediately broke the connection on the OE wiper arm. She has a 2007 Suburban and after looking for a replacement and realizing that the original was about $50 I decided to give this one a try. When it broke there was a nut and metal insert from the original lever. Please be careful! If you have a metal insert on the screw, it will need to be removed before installing the wiper arm. This replacement has a brass insert that is pressed in when the nut is tightened and will not fit if the original metal insert is still on the bolt. The OE metal insert is slotted on one side and can be prized off with a flathead screwdriver. It may take a little force, but it will come off. After that, installing this replacement is easy. Clean the bolt and set the lever to the off position with the wiper clamp in the small clamp and slowly tighten the nut until the lever is fully seated. Connect the spray hose and close the lid, done. I would buy it again and will probably have to do it again next spring when I meet my wife.
