Review on πŸŒ‘ Jacquard Idye Poly: Black - High-Quality Polyester Dye for Vibrant, Long-Lasting Black Coloration by Kelly Caballes

Good product bad description Revain

I don't know why they want me to rate "thickness" or "warmth". It's a bag of fabric paint. I would give it 4 stars for performance and 1 star for Revain's description. I wanted to dye an ugly pink polycotton sweatshirt black so I bought the iDye Poly black. The instructions should *really* be included in the product description here because: (a) they tell you not to use a pot or utensil that will be used for future meals. It's weirdly greasy and sticky and forms rings in the pot you're painting in. It also leaves a greasy suds in the sink after I wash it. Therefore, elbow fat is needed for subsequent cleaning. (b) iPoly dye *only* dyes plastics, not natural fibers. So if you have a poly-cotton blend, it will only dye synthetic fibers. If you want the fabric to be fully dyed you will need to purchase both iDye and iDye Poly. (c) Note that this substance is incredibly smelly and toxic - poisonous paint fumes, for example. This is said to be used with adequate ventilation, but fumes cannot be avoided if you have to stir frequently for an hour unless you have your own hood. that this substance is incredibly smelly and toxic - for example, toxic paint fumes.
