Great concept, very difficult to use

I'm a pretty techy guy and I have to say there is a certain point where you go from 'difficult for the average person' to 'unnecessarily complicated'. This car definitely exceeds that point. Every time I've used this scanner for anything other than a direct USB connection (which doesn't come with a USB cable, by the way), I've had to reconfigure the device for Wi-Fi (regardless of device or network). be used). , and almost every time I had to fix some aspects. This works very well via USB as long as the ScanSmart software is running. I used ScanSmart on four devices, two Chrome OS (1 mobile and 1 Pixelbook Go) and 2 Windows 10 (both PCs). A USB connection might work with a few adapters and some fiddling on a Pixelbook, but a mobile device won't fit. On a PC, one works fine via USB and the other doesn't let ScanSmart work even though the drivers and software have been uninstalled and reinstalled twice. It's still a work in progress and I think I can get over it with a little more time, but for a less advanced computer user it would render the device almost unusable. A quick and low-quality solution to this problem is to download the Windows scanner app from the Windows Store. I really want this device to work like a person traveling between multiple offices. But the lack of ability Deploying quickly and reliably on wireless networks defeats the purpose of a "handheld wireless" scanner. If you don't have the patience

Pros
