The device is cool, but . For home, to sit on the Internet, and work with texts - excellent. Nimble. But as always there is a "but": 4GB of memory. Objectively - not enough (in my combat macbook 16GB, and they are crammed to the eyeballs). This is partly offset by the speed of the SSD. If the tasks are harder than the Internet and text editors, then I would take a custom piece of hardware with extended ssd and ram, but it will be very expensive: it will cost like a 15" retina with i7, which will be more preferable.
