I thought nothing could match my Damn Durable socks for comfort and warmth during the winter months. So I was VERY hesitant to buy anything other than this brand. I walk my dogs on the local mountain trails near my house EVERY DAY, often 2 or 3 hours a day and for the last 5 years I've only used Darn Tough socks as they seem to last but aren't cheap . . So reading the reviews I couldn't turn down a bargain on these new socks. (although I don't always trust reviews as they don't always answer the questions I need). I have wide feet and HATE the toe seams which often make socks uncomfortable with those tiny "knots" around the little toe and thumb. So when the shoe presses on the toe, you really feel it. almost as if something got stuck. (yes, I'm very sensitive to such things) ;-) So now I'm addicted to these new socks. It remains to be seen how long they last in the campaigns and in the wash! I hope this is for a long time. If so, I will definitely buy more. And different colors are a lot of fun too.
