Versions of the XE500C13: S03US-Verse K03USK03US is exactly the same Chromebook as this one S03US, except it has twice the RAM and twice the storage space. Chrome OS, released in July 2018, is said to require more memory to handle the new security processes. 4GB RAM recommended. The 4GB K03US was under $140 in November 2017, so I bought it. After constant heavy daily use since researching, typing, watching videos and uploading photos, there have been no issues. I give the XE500C13 ten stars for reliability and performance under $150, but not with 2GB of RAM. It's outdated and that's why this version of S03US only gets two stars from me. Wait for 4GB or more Chomebook if you can to avoid freezing. Don't hesitate to buy a used K03US if it is in suspicious condition as there is little a user can do to damage it from the inside and it will run like new. XE500C13 PROS: Light weight, easy to carry, decent waterproof keyboard, long battery life, fast charging. , Solid build for a cheap car, Flush micro SD card slots, Can always be left on, Quiet, Reliable, Good WiFi, Opens 180 degrees, Has a blue light filter that user can install for night use.
