Works with Samsung Tab s4

I can connect it to my tablet and transfer photos from the SD card slot to a connected external USB SSD using my tablet as a controller. One limitation I found with this device is that the included wall adapter for my s4 tablet was not able to provide enough power through this device to keep my tablet charged. After upgrading to a more powerful wall box [B079P11LBV] I was able to charge my tablet and also power this device. I believe it has something to do with the power consumption of the device itself, which is to be expected for any multiport device. If only I had to make this product better. (a) Built-in USBc cable would be a little longer. When I connected it to my tablet, it hung crooked and I'm concerned that this may damage the tablet connector (b) after prolonged use. I would either like more modern technology (more USB 3.0 or UHS-ii) or just adapters for smaller devices (no space for USB 2.0). **Full Disclosure: This is an updated summary. ** When I originally bought this device it was advertised as having 3 USB 3.0 ports so I returned it shortly after initial testing. Innolife contacted me and corrected the product listing to show the correct information. I appreciate the fact that they took the time to contact me via email. Unfortunately I wanted something with multiple USB 3.0's (at least 2) and after careful consideration it was important to have both VGA and a 4k HDMI option.
