I bought this solely for the purpose of enabling DEX on my Note8 after Samsung updated DEX to support 3rd party devices. The review photo is a screenshot I took with my own DEX environment and it works fine with my 4K Vizio TV and Logitech keyboard and mouse combo. With the addition of a Bluetooth game controller, full-screen games can easily be played in either DEX or screen mirroring. And since this dock has Power Delivery, the phone stays charged when used in DEX mode, and my Note8 charges faster than it does. battery, and when mirroring the screen or simply idle, the phone charges at Quick Charge 3.0 speeds thanks to the original Samsung Quick Charge power adapter that comes with the phone. Overall, this is a solid performance that's worth every penny spent on it.
