Nice shirt except cheap fabric

I really loved this shirt except the fabric started to get the small fuzzy balls and needs a fabric shaver to get rid of them (which I don't have) I washed on gentle and lined dry so not sure why this happened except maybe cheap fabric -sad because I loved the way it looks on.

The material may wrinkle easily, requiring extra care when laundering
