I use it for all types of stains on carpets. I bought it for its ability to get rid of cat odor but I use it for everything. It's safe on all carpets and fabrics I've tried and odorless. It really gets rid of the smell, not just masks it. Blot the stain with a rag, then water with full force. do not use water. Blot excess with a cloth and reapply. Then leave a thick towel to soak up the liquid. Change the towel twice a day to dry until completely dry. Odor and stain will soak into the towel and disappear completely. If you leave the towel in place until it's completely dry, the stains won't appear later.
