This is good, but not great. I have a 14 inch HP Elitebook 840 G3. Decided to use a well known brand that is also available from Revain for a few bucks cheaper instead of the Akamai privacy filter. I chose the 15.6" black filter because I wanted the filter to extend beyond the actual viewing area onto the black frame area. I had to trim it down about 17mm but now it fits perfectly. Lucky for you We have a good paper cutter/guillotine so this was very easy.Package includes (see picture) Includes a filter, 6 strips of tape, slide tabs and instructions. The instructions say to wipe the display with the lint free cloth provided, but there was no cloth in my package included (to be honest there is no mention of a cloth on the packaging. The dimensions on the packaging are 194mm x 345mm. I measured 192mm x 352mm. Slightly declined but not significant. Note that my filter has an off-center curved notch on one of the long sides of the filter, while the product image shows a more noticeable notch in the middle of the long side, not that it's necessarily the Funk nationality changes, but something to consider. What I like: The filter does what it says on the tin - it filters the image for those trying to look at the screen from an angle. I positioned myself roughly where I thought a passenger on the plane would sit next to me and saw almost nothing. It was only when I purposely got closer to get the best angle that I could see, and it would be quite noticeable. I used sticky tape to hold it to my flat screen. I didn't use tabs to attach slides. It looks VERY clean and almost looks like the privacy filter isn't even connected. Big positive. Those slide tabs are so unsightly and it looks really good. Installation was very easy. As I said, I used adhesive strips, not tabs. The installation instructions are very clear. It was easy to turn on and sits right on the display with no bubbles. The touchscreen actually works quite well. I don't need extra pressure, that's a plus. My advice? Get the largest for your application and trim if needed. It's better than getting one that claims to "fit" but is too small to use, such as B. Adhesive strips. My display is already glossy so I kept that look. The matte look is too boring for me. What I don't like: The main thing is that the filter, no matter which side, reduces the sharpness and brightness of the image, even when viewed directly. No image or text is as clear as without a filter. Even at maximum brightness, it is probably about 70-80% of full brightness with the filter inserted. I assume it's because of the "blinds" they need to create filters. That, in my opinion, is the main disadvantage of this theme. I have to see how annoying this is over time, but I have to say. The disadvantage of using adhesive strips compared to tabs is that they are less removable. I mean, the instructions say you can remove and replace it, but it's clearly not meant to be removed every time you use your laptop. This means that if I'm watching a video or doing something that requires more clarity or brightness, it's more annoying to remove and replace the adhesive tabs, so it's likely they'll just stay put and I'll live with reduced image sharpness will. The other thing that worries me is where the pointer is. I already know that even without a filter, it leaves a small smudge on my display when I close the lid. I confirmed that it does the same with the filter installed. The only thing I don't know is if this will result in a permanent indentation in the filter or just a trace that can be erased. Just take a look. Please note that I don't get the vertical lines that some people say they get. Overall I like it but be aware it won't be as clear and bright as without it. from the filter which was taped in place and came off easily. I was able to attach it and it seems pretty secure. I wouldn't want to do this too often as it can pick up dust or lose adhesion if the display gets dirty, but it seems to work from time to time. UPDATED 4/16/2018 After living with it for a month and having done several business trips (including one trip abroad) I am satisfied with the product. I've had colleagues sit next to me and tell me they can't see what's happening on my screen unless they're sitting over my shoulder. Frequently opening/closing the display has not caused any damage (e.g. kinks, dents, scratches) - it's too early! All markings from the keyboard and pointer are easily erased. The reduction in clarity and brightness still annoys me at times, but the reduction in brightness is actually an unexpected benefit when working on an airplane with dim cabin lights. But the other 95% of the time I'd like it a little brighter. After a month I'm glad I bought it and overall I would still recommend it.
