Being just a fan and having a pop of the color you ordered I like it. I've found that if you don't connect it to the motherboard it won't be able to control the fan speed and therefore dim the lights, so I connected it via SATA power. We'll see how long it lasts, but after installing it for the first time and seeing how much air is blown out compared to a standard case fan, I can say it's a lot better and the blue light makes it look cool too leaves. Don't pay too much attention to the fan noise, so no problem.
