Review on Blue Panasonic SDR-H80 SD & HDD Camcorder – Enhanced for SEO! by Michael Syph

I didn't believe the bad reviews about this camera which records very poor quality in low light conditions. My sister and her husband have the same camera, just a few years older, and they love it! When we were visiting I quickly made a DVD on her computer for us to take with us. My daughter has watched the DVD dozens of times to remember her grandparents, aunt and uncle. I needed a camera that was just as easy to use to create a DVD! iMovie does not recognize the format that this camera records. That was my first disappointment. I had to spend even more money to update iMovie just to create a DVD! You might think that Panasonic wants to be Apple-friendly. lame. Or that the Mac wants to be friendlier to ALL formats since they brag about being so "media friendly"! And yes, the picture quality is BAD in everything but bright outdoor lighting. Also, I don't understand how we never took any data off this thing and it says we have about 9 hours left to write to disk! Shouldn't the picture quality be better to last maybe 5 hours or so! We have NOT enabled "Web Recording". I even go for XP, the highest quality.
