📼 LG RC897T Digital Tuner Multi-Format DVD Recorder and VCR Combo (2009 Model) Review

The VCR works fine. Won't Dub to DVD DVD Player Won't Play DVD We finally got all our old VCRs together to burn DVDs and found it didn't work. Big disappointment.

I have so many videos and DVDs to watch so I'm glad I have electronics. Someone wants over $1170 for a new one. I've never paid more than €500 for a new one. Thanks to the people who take good care of their used cars.

I bought this model because it offers the ability to "duplicate" content from VHS tapes to DVDs. The transfer is very simple and works great. However, there is one limitation: dubbed DVDs can only be viewed on the DVD recorder/player that created them. It cannot be played on other DVD players or readers connected or plugged into a PC.

I don't have a cable; I don't use streaming services. I have an HD antenna on the roof and I want to record my broadcasts when I'm not at home. I had this DVD recorder model (and it died after 9 years). I was happy to see that I could replace it with the same model so I didn't have to learn anything. The picture is great and I'm so glad Revain restored models!

The device started recording, stopped recording and shut down completely. I tried several other tapes and none of them worked. I took the same tapes and put them in my other LG897T and they all worked fine. I believe there is an electrical component that is about to fail. This is based on my experience with the electric drive. I would like to have a working LG897T as a backup for the machine I am currently using. I'm afraid to use another car after this experience. Plays every now and then. The car came dented and I got a $50 rebate. I tested it with a DVD while working on a discount as it was damaged on a DVD. I took the discount instead of returning it. I foolishly thought it would work for others. Turns out that didn't work either. I built a theater room so it's been too long to get it back. I am very very disappointed. If you buy one of these refurbished devices, make sure you test it thoroughly with multiple DVD and VHS products. I can only hope that
