I've been using this dock for over a year now. Unfortunately for me it was nothing but problems. First, you CANNOT change all of your monitor's refresh rates while using this dock. The refresh rate is capped at 60Hz and your operating system won't let you change to a higher one (if you have a monitor with a refresh rate > 60Hz). Second, it only works 50% of the time. I've only had it a week, had some problems initially but they helped me via chat! Anyway, this is what I use with my MacBook Air and dual screens. It works great! Only 2 problems: as soon as the laptop screen changes to "screensaver" I can't login to my account. Well I can but the laptop screen stays idle. Surprisingly this dock works like clockwork even though my laptop doesn't natively support 3 other screens. After you install the driver and put everything together, it may freeze or the screens flicker at first, but after the first run it stops. Ever since the Mavericks, using all those USB displays has gotten pretty painful. Although the site says Startech, the actual display hardware and software is made by DisplayLink and they are having trouble getting the drivers to work properly.
