I've been using this dock for over a year now. Unfortunately for me it was nothing but problems. First, you CANNOT change all of your monitor's refresh rates while using this dock. The refresh rate is capped at 60Hz and your operating system won't let you change to a higher one (if you have a monitor with a refresh rate > 60Hz). Second, it only works 50% of the time. I often have to disconnect and reconnect the dock to keep all my monitors and peripherals working. This can result in more than 20 disconnects and reconnects every time I want to use it. Third, the Display Link software is terrible, some applications (especially games) don't recognize your monitors because they are Display Link devices. Fourth, you'll notice significant input lag, which is to be expected since you don't connect input devices directly to the laptop, but this can be very annoying if you have to deal with it on a daily basis. I feel like I've been using this device long enough to write an honest review about it. I would not recommend this product, it will give you problems all the time. I have since decided to try another option and all my issues have been resolved. I would recommend doing the same elsewhere.
