It depends on what you really need. The docking station is well made and should last a long time. Setup on my tablet was easy and only took a few minutes to get up and running. It's multifunctional. One of the reasons I drew attention to this was the ability to use multiple ports, including connecting to a big screen TV in hotels when traveling. I bought a large storage box to hold the tool and charger. If you need more than one port to connect to, this product may be for you. They have HDMI ports as well as some USB ports and some other ports. It's a bit bigger than I expected and needs a charger to work. I'm fine with it, you're in good shape and I would recommend the product.
