My 2007 Acura TL-S has a HandsFreeLink (Bluetooth) module for phone calls but cannot stream music. So after a long search I came across the BT45-ACU. Installing it in my car couldn't be simpler (see my customers' pictures): 1. Remove the 6 handles that hold the luggage net in the trunk (can be done by hand) and a plastic clip (use a thin flat head) 2. Remove the center plastic panel from the trunk; Lift it straight up as it is held in place by four white plastic clips3. You can now fold back the trunk lining just enough to work in this area4. Remove the 4 Phillips screws securing the DVD player and slide it to the side5. Loosen the 3 screws (10mm) holding the XM unit just enough to move and remove6. Disconnect the main cable going to the XM unit and then connect it to the BT457 adaptor. Connect one end of the adapter to the BT45 box and the other end to the XM8 block. Set DIP switches on BT45: 1 and 3 are activated; 2 and 4 OUT9. Reinstall the XM10 unit. Attach the BT45 box to the frame with Velcro11. Reinstall the DVD12 unit. Reinstall the trunk trim and the plastic trunk trim. It literally takes 10 minutes to install and the results are worth it. With my iPhone 6S connected to both Acura HandsFreeLink (Bluetooth) and BT45, I can stream music over BT through the XM1 input (leaving XM2 for those of you who actually still use XM radio) and calls on receive my iPhone. I can use the steering wheel buttons to change tracks and also use the Acura HandsFreeLink steering wheel button to answer/make/end a call like I could before adding BT45. One thing I definitely recommend is turning off voice prompts. on BT45 as they get bored pretty quickly. To do this, follow these steps: 1. Connect your phone to the BT45-ACU via BT and start streaming music2. Turn off BT on your phone3. Wait 5-10 seconds, then turn the Tune knob/knob counterclockwise until you hear a voice telling you the alerts are off.
