Review on Rockville RVF-2 1200w Peak/300w RMS Dyno-Certified 4-Channel Car Stereo Amplifier Amp by John Ramsey

Bad amp, no guarantee, and the amp burned out quickly.

My son changed the battery on the truck and the amplifier burned out. Two fuses were blown, I replaced the fuse and it still doesn't work. This is the worst amp I've ever owned. I installed everything correctly, making sure the wires don't touch each other. It worked fine, but when it came time to replace my old battery, it burned out. I thought that the fuse is needed to protect the amp from blowing in case of a shortage. The company sent me an amp with no bass control and when I asked about it they said they didn't have it in stock. I will never buy Rockville products again. Also the way they made the wire holder, the screw that holds the wire for the speaker wire, the angle of the screw makes it difficult to hold the wires. Not a very good design. I need to solder the screws to hold the speaker wire. Worst experience ever.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • There are some nuances
