TLDR; Definitely not recommend. Unfortunately, it's bloody awful. I have a dual monitor mount, but the bottom monitor was too close to my desk and I had to remount it elsewhere. I wanted to move my laptop to a lower VESA mount under my large 4K monitor. The advantage of this product is that the mounting options on the metal base are flexible and all necessary screws are included. Here the pluses end. The plastic side brackets require assembly and are cumbersome and difficult to assemble. The adjustments aren't too bad, but they don't match laptops in a docking station. But the worst thing is that on this device, the metal base is a piece of flat metal with a rounded curve on the back. There is absolutely no support for the front of the mount, so a laptop on a tray will bounce like a flatbed truck with poor hydraulics. Forget trying to use the keyboard or touchpad as your laptop is constantly being snatched from your hands. I'm trying to decide between sending it back and adding staples that I need to make. The odd mounting angle places the front edge of my laptop less than two inches above my desktop keyboard, so I figure I'll just end the misery this product is causing me.
