This review is for COTOPHER White Gift Box 8x8x4 inches. Not a fan of it at all. They work well and form gift boxes, but when compared to other gift boxes of a similar style, they clearly don't do as well in a number of ways. First, the cardstock used is thinner and not as stiff, making it more difficult to work with and not holding its shape well. Also, there is a design that is too complex to fold and assemble properly and still results in a flimsy design. Not only the upper part is open, as one would expect, but the entire lower part. The base consists of 4 parts that fold together and then connect with a tongue and groove design. It leaves a brittle box bottom that tends to fold inward when depressed, or open and fall apart if the contents are too heavy. The only hope is to glue the bottom securely after connecting the tongues and slots. Almost every other box of this type I've ever used had a completely solid bottom, which is way better than this set of boxes. The green leaves that come with it look really cheap and I wouldn't use them in a box. , so this part goes to the trash. The twine part is a nice touch though. The bottom line is that the assembly design is too complex, resulting in a box design that is too weak, and the box is too thin overall. There are many other better options, so I suggest searching for them and skipping these. I would rate it 2 stars but I'll give it 3 because it works like a gift box, just not very well.
