Review on Metra 40 UV41 Motorola Antenna Adapter by Unm Weil

I was a little hesitant to buy this as I wasn't sure if it was the right product and I don't know much about car VHF antennas apart from that of what the connector looks like at the end of a . I installed an aftermarket universal design car antenna to improve radio reception, but I needed a wire extension. I assumed "Motorola" was the type of connector used by car antennas. Also on the PICTURE (at least when I clicked on the product, that can be fixed now) was a picture of a "mama" and "dad" adapter so I was even more puzzled. I read the reviews here, thanks!, and figured this is the product I need. For reference, it's a female to female coupler for car FM antennas when using an antenna extension cord (which is a male extension cord plug). Although you see both adapters in the picture, the product description title says it is a female to female adapter and that is exactly what you get. It's reasonably priced and it was exactly what I needed and worked as it should.
