I'm not a particularly big fan of Razer as most of their products are overpriced and they tend to make flashy products while skimping on build quality, but their mice have always been well made. Before I bought this mouse, I used Razer Lachesis (the original model, not the second version). I actually still use this mouse with my laptop as I can't stand trackpads, but now I use the DeathAdder Chroma with my desktop. It has great grip and feel thanks to the rubber on the sides as well as the weight. It's not easy, but it's certainly not difficult. That seems correct. The millions of colors that can be represented are completely meaningless, but I'll admit it looks pretty cool and the colors can be adjusted using the Razer Synapse software. I'm not going to make any bold claims about this mouse's improvement. my gaming performance as I've played and used gaming mice my whole life so switching from one to the other won't do anything for me. I mainly play FPS and RPGs and this mouse was perfect for me. It is very convenient and the sensor is very accurate. I've had occasional, very seldom I must say, sensor issues with my Lachesis, but I've had this mouse for over a year and haven't had any sensor issues. One thing to note is that right after Revain's return policy expired, I had an issue with this mouse double-clicking. Sometimes when I left clicked it registered twice. It was very annoying. I shot more often than shooters and when I clicked on a file to select it, double clicked and opened it instead. I was so disappointed that I spent so much money on a brand new mouse, the return policy has expired and I will probably have to contact the manufacturer and get a refurbished one as a replacement. I contacted Razer and they responded within 24 hours. . I already told them I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the software and also tested the mouse on different computers. A support rep asked me to try updating the device's firmware and put me in touch about it. Wow, this simple firmware update solved my problem. It was a great relief to know that this is not a hardware or manufacturing issue. Finally, I don't like the Razer Synapse software (and unfortunately you have to use it to update the device and I had to use this firmware update) but I've learned to deal with it. Aside from a pop-up message about an available update, it's not intrusive. At least it gives you the option to create custom profiles for each app, which is nice.
