This DVD player is enough for kids to watch in the car. The downsides are the cheap brackets that hold the strap to the back of the seat for tightening and the very cheap ports for plugging in the power cord and other items. We bought this product twice hoping the first was an accident but no the second broke easily. Unplugging the power cord broke the entire internal port so we can't plug it back in - it's broken forever due to the cheap design. Both came loose, the back broke off (cheap plastic) but that's okay because now I'm gluing another mount. So the image and screen quality are okay, but the construction is very poor.
