Terrible product. Very cheap headrest straps. The DVD will not play if you tighten it too much. 3 months guarantee. After 6 months of use the device won't even turn on and the only help you can get from customer service is that this product is out of warranty. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT.

headrest straps are the worst! This is my second portable DVD set and I wish I could stick with the Phillips brand but I wanted to use the USB option but unfortunately the Sylvania brand would not read my USB drive. And the volume is barely enough. Next time I'll know better and stick with the Phillips brand.

We used them on a 2 day trip (one way so 4 days total) with 2.5 and 4.5 in the car. IDEAL when one faces backwards and one does not. Went like clockwork! We downloaded movies from a flash drive and played them with no problems. It was a bit frustrating having so many cables in the car, but that's to be expected. It also restarts movies without a power source if you need to turn off the device, which isn't ideal.

Very disappointed with this product! I bought a set for our cross country trip to keep the little ones entertained. After installing it in my car (and going on a trip) I was furious to find that it didn't work at all! He started playing the movie but it was only there for 5 minutes. I changed the discs but the same thing happens. After the third try, the screens went blue and he started making a horrible screech. My kids are disappointed, I'm pissed and we'll definitely get this back ASAP!

This DVD player is enough for kids to watch in the car. The downsides are the cheap brackets that hold the strap to the back of the seat for tightening and the very cheap ports for plugging in the power cord and other items. We bought this product twice hoping the first was an accident but no the second broke easily. Unplugging the power cord broke the entire internal port so we can't plug it back in - it's broken forever due to the cheap design. Both came loose, the back broke off (cheap…

I don't like to judge things until we have a chance to actually use them. I bought it for trips with our grandchildren. I chose this item over others because it works in both the car and the hotel and comes with a remote control and carry/storage bag. So far he has made several long trips with us and has done a great job. Kids love having 2 screens and how their movies fit in the tote bag.
