I don't like to judge things until we have a chance to actually use them. I bought it for trips with our grandchildren. I chose this item over others because it works in both the car and the hotel and comes with a remote control and carry/storage bag. So far he has made several long trips with us and has done a great job. Kids love having 2 screens and how their movies fit in the tote bag. I love how everything fits into one compact bag that's easy to store and take with you. I am very happy that I decided on this one after a long discussion about which device to buy. We bought the headphones separately and love it when the silence in the back seat is broken by children's laughter.)
