I was looking for a cheaper alternative to Otterbox. I was going to like this case but ended up returning it because it's not as protective as the Otterbox Defender series. This case isn't as rigid and the back is mostly a single layer of polycarbonate. The bumpers are thick around the edges and corners and should offer adequate drop protection, although they feel quite thick when squeezed. The screen protector is a plastic screen bonded to the front layer of the case - no tempered glass - but feels cheaper than the same plastic screen that comes with Otterbox cases. Otterbox cases fit together more securely thanks to multiple layers of protection. The front layer of this cover is quite thin and only snaps onto the edges of the bumpers. I saw him break away from a hard fall. Overall I would envision it as a bumper case with minimal front and back protection.
