The quality of this cable is pretty standard. Not terrible, but nothing special. I prefer something with heavier insulation around the cable, but that's personal preference. Also keep in mind that this one is only 3 feet long. So that won't get you very far. The USB cable goes from a standard USB-A on one end to an oddly shaped flat USB plug that nobody likes on the other. I really wish my hard drive case had a different connector, that flimsy USB connector on the device stretches so easily it's ridiculous - after changing the cable I still had the same issue so now I know what the problem was with the connector, not the cable. But hey, I'm no magician, I can only work with the USB slots built into my devices. And if your device has the same stupid flat USB connector, this cable should help you out.
