Unfinished metal edges are sharp and capable of cutting

I very much like the clip design and size. It was sturdy and easy to use. Unfortunately, some of the unfinished edges are sharp and I cut my finger while using. I will have to use a rasp or some other sanding device to smooth those areas down.
