My son just turned 8 years old, he is tall and slim. This shirt is a bit big but I like it as it shrinks a bit over time and I want it to last all winter. It's a lighter weight that's perfect for us in generally warmer climates. If your child needs extra warmth, this may not be the right choice for you.
