I've tried sprays, nice claw covers and even sprays with lemon juice. They all practically lost their effect after a while, even my cat loves it so much. Until recently, a friend recommended this cat scratch tape to me and told me that while cats are irritated by orange-scented products, the smell doesn't last long. One of the real weaknesses of cats is stickiness. Once they figure out their favorite couch or closet is sticky, they won't scratch it or even stay away from it. I recommend this tape as a scratch protection for cats. I wish more friends could understand cat's habits and protect our precious furniture.
