Other reviews speak of problems or defects in the attachment of the springs that mount the lamp to the ceiling pitcher. Note that these lights fit both 5" and 6" cans. The springs are factory set for a 5" can. However, each spring is attached to the light with a screw on the mounting bracket, so either spring can be extended to accommodate any 6" can. If you're trying to use a flashlight, factory set at 5" into a 6" box without "expanding" that mount, the spring mount will loosen or the flashlight will not seat properly. I've installed at least 25 of these in my house and have never had installation problems .So what's the problem?INSTRUCTIONS that are poor and don't explain it.A common problem with "overseas" goods.The quality of these particular products is about the same no matter what company makes them or where you buy them.If you so understand the above, take a chance and get it, the price is acceptable, lower than the "big box" stores where the choices are limited, good luck!
