Review on 🔊 IBoost 800: Top-notch Stereo Line Level Audio Amplifier Booster Amp for MP3, iPod, iPad, iPhone by David Finley

I bought this to strengthen the line of my LCD TV. The volume was so low that I had to turn up the volume on my amp for up to three hours to even get a moderate sound. I ordered this in the hope that it would improve the situation. It is really important! I connected this little amp between the TV and the main amp and then turned it on along with my regular amp. After a few adjustments to the volume control, I found that the 11 o'clock position on my main amp now gave me a moderately loud sound. Doesn't sound like much but I have a pretty flimsy system and it fits a decent CD player so I'm happy. In my setup, I set the iBoost volume to around 6.5 to achieve this without clipping the signal on really loud passages. Your own mileage may vary, but it's easy to play with. The only downside of this product is the power button. There is an on/off/volume control that works well but would be more convenient with a separate power button. That said, it's a minor annoyance and it doesn't take much fiddling to get the volume back down to decent levels. Overall, I would highly recommend this to anyone who needs to boost the line level for their TV, smartphone, MP3 player, etc. It requires very little intervention to get good line volume, and the small amp doesn't introduce hiss or color in sound. in some way. It also feels solid and the volume control works smoothly. Good business.
