Review on 🔧 Lisle Brake Cylinder Hone 10000 by Kevin Shimmens

This tool works as intended. I have read many complaints about this type of honing machine and everything I have ever bought has worked great. These tools are NOT drills, they are designed to break the glaze in a cylinder or remove minor surface rust. Too many people seem to think these things can replace a $15,000 drill press and expect them to remove .001 or more (they aren't designed to remove material!) or that rocks aren't rocks and are brittle by definition. If you hit them or drop tools, they will break. I used this tool to clean out a 3/4 cylinder bore that cost $700 to replace. It worked great, for my purpose the rocks were a bit rough (very high pressure air compressor) but for a combustion engine the sand would be fine. The hole diameter was 0.850" and will be slightly smaller.
