On the positive side this item really stays in place. It's durable and built fairly well. With the case of my cell phone (Motorola Droid Turbo 2), on the other hand, it fits very well. The jaws need to be a few millimeters lower to hold it properly. I can get my phone to stay inside but the slightest smack on the phone and it falls out. It stays on most bumps in the road. Another disadvantage is that the neck is too short. I drive an RX8 with a short, curved dashboard and a low windshield. I placed it as far back as I could and it barely touched the front edge of the dash and the phone hit the windshield. The last minus is the hard base. Like I said, my dash is curved and the edges of this thing don't fit the curve. He wants to sit up straight. I would like to rate it 3.5 stars.
