Review on Free Standing Cookware Stand With 6 Tiers, Hammered Steel Pot Rack (Fully Assembled) by Don Barbee

Perfect for those with no room for hanging pot rack

I first saw this standing pot rack at Williams-Sonoma, at a higher price than what I paid to have it shipped fully assembled on Best Buy. I bought this rack years ago from Best Buy, and use it literally, every single day. I think it is also $100 cheaper than when I first bought it, too.Almost ten years in, It looks just like I did when I bought it. The hammered steel has held up beautifully, and we've moved twice since then. Personally, I'd prefer a hanging pot rack, but our ceilings are way too high, and the layout of our kitchen doesn't make it practical.Things I dislike:It requires a footprint, and can get awkward with pot handles sticking out. I wouldn't have chosen to have it taking up the room it does if I'd had other viable options. When my kids were crawling infants, this was a baby magnet - for my kids, and those who visited. They loved to try and pull the pots off the rack and it was just the perfect height. After a few crashing pots scared them off, the pot rack became less interesting. I bought this before I had kids, and likely wouldn't have had I realized what an attractive nuisance this is for the younger set.
