I'm used to a camera with a lot of different settings so it took me a while to get used to it. The AUTO setting works reasonably well in most situations, and it's a nice little camera to carry around in your purse or pocket at all times. My only complaint is that (as far as I can tell) the only way to choose a focus point (instead of the camera trying to figure out what you want to photograph) is to set it to program, which means I can choose a different one must also set attributes. My trick was to program a fairly "normal" setting, so I can usually quickly switch to "P" to get the "focus box". In most cases this works very well. And indeed, for the low price, picture quality, battery life, ease of use - everything is very good. The AUTO sensor does a good job of detecting faces, detecting low light, sunset, close-ups and other common situations. I just want to lock the focus point and then compose the image like other cameras. Also keep in mind that the camera does not come with a charger. I always buy a second battery (so I don't miss photos because the battery dies) so I bought the one that came with the charger so it wasn't a big deal for me, but you should be aware of this before purchase. That. Otherwise you will have to charge the battery while it is in the camera and your camera will not work during this time. Detection of low light, sunset, close-up and other common situations.
