Product descriptions and manufacturer answers to questions about the composition of this product are outright lies and false advertising. I read the question asked and all the answers to know the composition of the product. The manufacturer has pointed out several times that these are not slats, but solid wood. That's a lie. It is a wooden frame with several slats wrapped in fabric. I specifically purchased this product and found it to be solid wood wrapped in glued fabric. The product is a frame with solid wood slats and a frame wrapped with glued fabric. I could buy a metal frame or slats for the bunk cheaper and be in better shape. Speaking of shape, my husband and I weigh 550 pounds combined, so I wanted solid wood wrapped in bonded fabric. This product is absolutely useless and this company is ripping people off like a cheap car dealership selling lemons. I am furious and will turn them into a Better Business Bureau along with screenshots of their blatant lies for customers who asked directly about this product's ingredients and the manufacturer's answers.
