Incredibly bad value for money.

Don't be fooled by the picture. The Queen Size consists of two separate, unconnected parts. They don't connect, they don't bend. They're about seven strips covered in cardboard, or maybe a backing that's placed on cheap cloth-covered bookshelves. I have attached photos of the white top and black bottom. Have a hammer ready to hammer in any protruding staples before placing under the mattress. It fits perfectly on a queen-size bed without sticking out at the ends. This seems to be enough support

Pros
  • Floor stand with fabric cover
Cons
  • Waiting too long

Update! I just received a new box spring that I bought from another seller and boy is it the night and day difference between that junk and my new one. Without exaggeration, it feels like I have a new mattress. I ripped these boards apart and they were actually cardboard. Photo attached! DO NOT BUY. It's been about a year and a half and it squeaks/gasps horribly just sitting down, standing up etc. I thought it was our mattress which was bought right before this bunk board and was about to…

Cardboard box decorated with something big

Advertised as a "wooden" double board with a fabric cover. It's actually a wooden frame with two crossbars, covered with a piece of CARDBOARD and then wrapped in the prescribed cloth sleeve. I don't know if they went to a different school than me, but last time I read that cardboard isn't considered a durable building material. Because of this, our mattress sagged and started to creak very loudly. We had to replace it with a matching wooden sub-platform that reinforced our wooden slatted bed…

False advertising that makes them the Better Business Bureau!

Product descriptions and manufacturer answers to questions about the composition of this product are outright lies and false advertising. I read the question asked and all the answers to know the composition of the product. The manufacturer has pointed out several times that these are not slats, but solid wood. That's a lie. It is a wooden frame with several slats wrapped in fabric. I specifically purchased this product and found it to be solid wood wrapped in glued fabric. The product is a…

Functional but expensive

This is a wooden frame with cardboard on top and wrapped in thin cloth. Everything is stapled, although I believe and hope the wood is actually nailed. The queen size consists of two parts that are not attached to each other. You put them side by side in the bed frame. They're long and thin, so the seam runs down the middle, from the head to the foot of the bed. I bought this because I have a memory foam mattress and needed a low platform to put it on and was worried about getting splinters of…

Pros
  • Meets Federal Fire Codes 1632 and 1633
Cons
  • Poorly designed

Slim, good quality, needs support underneath

They met some very specific needs in a home where a one piece queen size duvet was not suitable for climbing stairs and an existing headboard was not room for that offered a thicker box spring plus one of the new, thicker mattresses and a mother who doesn't need a loft bed that she can't get in and out of as easily. very easy to handle and climb stairs. It's only an inch or two thick, allowing for a taller mattress (9-11 inches) without increasing the overall height of the bed compared to a…
