Review on πŸ›οΈ Enhance Your Twin Bed's Support with Continental Sleep 2-Inch Wood Split Bunkie Board/Slats - Includes 2 Halves for Easy Installation! by Todd Stone

Functional but expensive

This is a wooden frame with cardboard on top and wrapped in thin cloth. Everything is stapled, although I believe and hope the wood is actually nailed. The queen size consists of two parts that are not attached to each other. You put them side by side in the bed frame. They're long and thin, so the seam runs down the middle, from the head to the foot of the bed. I bought this because I have a memory foam mattress and needed a low platform to put it on and was worried about getting splinters of wood with a cheap slat set. Why it sucks: * Seriously, cardboard? For this price it should be at least fiberboard.* The fabric is cheap. Feathers don't usually have thick fabric, but I'm not complaining about that. The seams are not closed or sewn, the fabric came torn.* Incredibly poorly packaged. There's no protection at all, and mine came with a big top surface guilt.* Parts aren't square. They don't sit flush in the frame and don't line up next to each other. * The overall size is 79*59 inches as shown in the description. However, it is too small for the frame. If you only have a head start and no central support, you will fail. I think that might be a plus as the pieces are not square. I had to put in some spacers to make it fit. I regret buying this. Spend an extra $20 on one of the flat one-piece springs or a set of rods instead. However, it does support my mattress and gets one star for that.
