This has a nice soft stretch but it's a joke trying to fit a leggy greyhound! I followed the measurements and received XL. It took two of us to dress a very patient greyhound but undressing him was even worse! We thought we'd have to cut it down. It covers his back but doesn't stay on his bottom. The delivery was a joke too! It took 20 days after it was "shipped" and there was no way to trace it back. I don't see us using it for combat. It seems well stitched but if you stretch it and pull on it that hard I'm sure it will tear.
